Technical Specifications
Design & Standards:
Manufactured in accordance with IS:3734-1966, DIN, or latest ISI specifications for worm gearing.
Key Components:
Worm Shaft:
Precision-machined from high-grade alloy steel, case-hardened and ground to provide a durable, wear-resistant surface. Designed for smooth, quiet operation, with cylindrical surfaces ground to tight tolerances for bearings and seals.
Worm Wheel:
Constructed with a phosphor bronze rim, centrifugally cast and securely shrunk-fit to the center hub for long-lasting performance.
Gear Housing:
Fabricated from close-grained cast iron. Engineered with large surface cooling fins on both sides to enhance thermal dissipation and operating efficiency.
Bearings:
Heavy-duty ball or roller bearings selected to withstand both radial (journal) and axial (thrust) loads effectively.
Oil Seals:
Equipped with premium-grade oil seals (e.g., Fenner or equivalent) to prevent leakage and ensure smooth, reliable service.
